Alyson Behr is Executive Producer/Editor In Chief of SporthorseTV and founder of Behr Communications, a Los Angeles-based content provider and Web development firm. Most recently she served as Director, Technical Marketing at Spirent Communications, a leading telecommunications network test tool manufacturer. Previous to that role, she served as a contributing editor to the product reviews and test departments of InfoWorld, Internet Week, Information Week Magazine and SD Times. Additionally, she served as Editor for CMP’s PlanetIT, the first technology portal on the Internet, and as a Networld+Interop Best In Show and SIIA Codie Awards judge. Her work has been published in several other magazines including: • ZD Internet Magazine • Web Developer Magazine • NetGuide Magazine • Smithsonian Air & Space Magazine • Plane & Pilot Magazine • Miami Magazine Ms. Behr has received coverage for her airshow performances, aviation activities and technology expertise in the following publications: • USA Today Newspaper • Miami Herald • ZD Internet Magazine • Flieger Magazin • Plane & Pilot Magazine • Ventura County Star Free Press For 2 years prior to founding Behr Communications, she was the Editor of Plane & Pilot Magazine. Ms. Behr began her publishing career in 1980 at Miami Magazine. She is the recipient of an Art Director's Club of Los Angeles Award for publication re-design. Ms. Behr makes her home in Malibu, California with her Holsteiner gelding Logan, a Landgraf and Cor De La Bryere grandson, her airplane, Doberman and Aussie as well as 10 (at last count) computers.
